As a Fulbright Visiting Scholar, Dr Tastaftiyan Risfandy researches “Executive compensation and risk-taking in Islamic banks” with Professor M. Kabir Hassan from the University of New Orleans, the institution which invited him.

Dr Tastaftiyan is a lecturer and researcher in economics at Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta.

He completed a PhD and a second master’s degree, both in banking and finance at Université de Limoges, France. His first master’s degree is in finance from Universitas Gadjah Mada and his bachelor’s degree is in management from Universitas Sebelas Maret.
