Dr. Yusnita Rahayu is a senior lecturer in communications engineering at Universitas Riau, Pekanbaru.

At Villanova University, Dr. Yusnita’s research is in communications engineering to improve radar array antenna’s long-range detection in Indonesian seawater. She hopes to benefit from the US’s highly developed radar technology so she can alter her radar using computer algorithms to create more advanced radar antenna products.

Dr. Yusnita earned her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Institut Sains and Teknologi Nasional, Jakarta, and her master’s and PhD in electrical engineering from Universiti Teknologi of Malaysia.
