Effi Latiffianti is pursuing a doctorate in operation research and industrial engineering at Texas A&M University. Her proposed study is related to the implementation of optimization in logistics and distribution, common problems in Indonesia.

She is a junior lecturer at Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Surabaya where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. She holds a masters in industrial engineering and operations management from the University of Nottingham, UK.
