Fitri Safira is studying for a doctorate in economics at the Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

She is a lecturer and researcher at PPM School of Management, Jakarta from which she obtained a bachelor’s and masters degrees in financial management with an academic scholarship. She has written several articles about financial literacy, financial inclusion, financial technology, and innovation.

She hopes to establish a Financial Technology and Financial Inclusion Research Center upon her return to PPM.
