Halimah is studying instructional technology at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She is inspired to take that field of study because technology is her gateway to enhance her teaching performance and teaching ability and to help her institution excel in the education program.

Halimah holds a bachelor’s degree in English education from STAIN Parepare. Prior to her Fulbright award, she worked as an English Assistant Lecturer at Islamic College (STAI) DDI Pangkep and a teacher at Islamic Boarding School.
