Hanifrahmawan is a lecturer at Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in chemical engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2014 and 2015.

He wants to pursue a Doctoral degree in chemical engineering focusing on renewable energy and reaction engineering. His proposed study is related to the study of dynamic modeling for geothermal reservoirs using chemical engineering tools to refine exploration steps and to reduce the cost failure risk in each exploitation activity so that long-term operations are sustainable.

Upon completion of his program, he will continue his career as a lecturer and aspires to be the first Indonesian professor in geothermal energy from a chemical engineering background.

For his Fulbright Doctoral degree program in chemical engineering, Hanifrahmawan is placed at Cornell University.
