Endang is a lecturer, researcher, and clinical psychologist at Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Yarsi in Jakarta, since 2008. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in psychology from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan and Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2003 and 2007.
She wants to pursue a Doctoral degree in clinical P\psychology. Her proposed study is to provide more in-depth knowledge regarding the well-being of high-risk pregnant women in Indonesia and its relation with depression, stress, and anxiety symptoms. It will focus on finding the correlation and the effect of mindfulness on well-being of high-risk pregnant women.
Upon completion of her doctoral degree program, she will return to her home institution and share her knowledge and research experience to support the government, particularly the Ministry of Health, to reach the millennium development goals (MDGs) in reducing maternal mortality rate (MMR).
For her Fulbright Doctoral degree program in human development and family studies, Endang is placed at University of Wisconsin, Madison.
