Jajat Burhanudin’s research will be on “Two Writing Tradition in Southeast Asian Islam: A Study of the Kitab of Daud Al-Fatani and Nawawi Al-Bantani” at Cornell University.

Jajat is a lecturer at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Islamic history, a master’s and PhD in Islamic studies from Leiden University.
