Laely Nurhidayah will do research at The City University of New York on “The Forest and its Biodiversity: Comparing Challenges and Prospects in the Implementation of Biodiversity Laws in Indonesia and the USA” which is a comparative study she believes will be useful for policy-makers in Indonesia and in the United States.
Laely is a researcher at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LlPl) Jakarta. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Jenderal Soedirman University, an LLM from the University of Queensland, and a PhD from Macquarie University, all in law.
