Jati is a research scientist at Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in psychology from Universitas Diponegoro and Universitas Airlangga in 2003 and 2006. She would like to pursue a Doctoral degree in neuropsychology focused on brain, mind, and behavior.

Her proposed study is related to the implementation of effective emotion stimuli in creating a positive learning environment. Her research results will be used to promote a new learning strategy called emotion-based learning.

On completion of her degree program, she will return to Semarang to build an experimental laboratory and initiate basic research to promote effective learning behavior. She will also develop networks for joint research in neuropsychology.

For her Fulbright Doctoral degree program in educational psychology, Jati is placed at Oklahoma State University.
