Jonathan McLeod is a PhD student at the University of Arizona who receives the Fulbright–Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad to continue his project “Traditional Livelihood and Forest Use among the Tabun Tribe in West Papua, Indonesia” which previously was supported by Fulbright Student Research award.

Supported by Universitas Negeri Papua, Jonathan hopes that the result of his project could provide the local and provincial governments with a greater understanding of the livelihood needs and forest-use strategies of peoples in this region.
