Laras Susanti pursues her doctoral degree in the SJD program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, specializing in family law-child protection. She wants to study the role of Indonesia’s justice system to protect children in family cases, specifically in the cases of child marriage and out-of-wedlock children.
Laras is a lecturer in law at Universitas Gadjah Mada, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree. She later studied for a master’s in law at the University of Washington, Seattle.
