A bachelor’s degree in English education from Universitas Cenderawasih in Papua, Lenny Zilfa is continuing her academic journey by pursuing a degree in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) at the Ohio State University, supported by the Fulbright Master’s Degree Scholarship. She plans to expand access to English-language learning for underprivileged students in Papua upon completion of the program.

She is an English teacher and an elementary school principal at SD Papua National School in Jayapura, Papua. She was also a PTFI-funded Community College Initiative Program scholarship recipient, supporting her professional development in early childhood education at Mesa Community College.
