Maila Dinia Husni Rahiem’s research will be on “Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Programs for Children in the USA: “What Lessons Can Be Learned to Help Develop a Similar Successful Program in Indonesia.” This program will benefit Indonesia, given the high number of disasters and the need to prepare the population to face these issues better in the future.

Maila is a lecturer at the Faculty of Education and a research coordinator at the Center for Research and Publication, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English language teaching from Jakarta State University, a master’s in education from McGill University, and a PhD in education from Putra University Malaysia.
