Mario Donald Bani is a lecturer in biotechnology at the Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (i3L) in Jakarta. He earned his bachelor’s degree in agricultural plant pest and disease science from Universitas Nusa Cendana, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, a master’s degree in biotechnology from the University of Queensland, and a second master’s in molecular biology from the University of Western Australia.
With the Fulbright Doctoral Degree Program, he studies microbiology at Iowa State University of Science and Technology. Upon completing his study, he intends to become a professor in plant, agriculture, and microbial biotechnology.
