Michael Recard Sihombing is an assistant professor at Universitas Pelita Harapan in Tangerang, Banten. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Universitas Negeri Jakarta and a master’s degree in applied English linguistics from Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya.
He studies teaching and learning at The Ohio State University, supported by the Fulbright Doctoral Degree Program. Upon completing his studies, he aims to expand the Harmonious English Learning Program (HELP), which serves as a model for free English education, and the Kairos Tanah Papua Foundation, which provides free education to underserved children in Papua; mentor future educators; and pursue stakeholder collaboration to promote equitable, technology-enhanced education.
