Prabu Aditya is an operational weather forecaster at the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics or Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) Ranai, Natuna Station in the Natuna, Riau Islands.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Sekolah Tinggi Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (STMKG) and his master’s degree in applied meteorology and climate from the University of Reading, United Kingdom.

With the Fulbright Doctoral Degree Program, he studies atmospheric sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a focus on storm dynamics and their prediction. He intends to become a professor in meteorology at STMKG and a senior forecaster at BMKG. He is committed to promoting the collective ability to respond to challenges brought about by changing weather patterns.
