Ryan Rachmad Nugraha is a lecturer in medicine, public health, and nursing at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. He earned his bachelor’s degree in medical science from Universitas Padjadjaran, Diploma of Medicine from Universitas Padjadjaran, and a master’s degree in public health, health policy, and management from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA.
He studies health services policy and management at The University of South Carolina, Columbia, supported by the Fulbright Doctoral Degree Program. Upon returning to Indonesia, he is committed to establishing a Center for Excellence in Primary Health Care Management, which will serve as a platform for evidence-based advocacy to promote primary health care as the anchor of Indonesia’s health care system.
