Marisa is a laboratory staff member at PT. Fajar Surya Swadaya in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in forest management from Institut Pertanian Bogor in 2012.

Her main interest is in sustainable management of forests which she feels is critical in Indonesia thus her proposed study program is forestry.

Upon completion of the program, she intends to return to Indonesia and continues her career as lecturer and or researcher.

For her Master’s degree program, Marisa is placed at Auburn University to study forestry.
