Mifrokhah Haniffa studies civil engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station. Her study is related to geotechnical engineering and her research is on ground deformation, particularly caused by tunneling construction.

Prior to her Fulbright master’s degree scholarship, Mifrokhah was a research assistant at the Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta where she had earned her bachelor’s degree in geological engineering in 2015.

Upon completion of her master’s degree, Mirfokhah plans be a full-time faculty at the Universitas Gadjah Mada.
