Nur Annis Hidayati pursues a doctoral degree in wildlife ecology at the University of Delaware. Her proposed doctoral study is related to the bird’s migration strategy as a reflection of variation in ecological conditions among several stopover sites.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Sebelas Maret University and a master’s degree in biology from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
