Rameen Sajjad
Award Year: 2026

Rameen Sajjad is a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) co-teaching English at SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur.

Rameen is a 2025 graduate of the College of William & Mary in Business Analytics with a passion for education, cross-cultural exchange, and community development. As a 2024 Freeman Fellow, she interned in Indonesia — an experience which deepened her belief that meaningful connection is rooted in genuine and mutual exchange.

Since then, she has brought that philosophy into every role: mentoring first-generation students as a Student Ambassador, leading peer orientation at William & Mary, teaching after-school programs, and applying her analytical skills at Amnesty International and the United Nations. A Young Futures awardee for “Good Actors within Tech and Innovation,” she is committed to making education and technology inclusive and locally relevant.

The Fulbright ETA is Rameen’s opportunity to return to Indonesia, this time as a collaborator and contributor, growing alongside the students and communities that first inspired her.
