As a Fulbright DAI awardee, Ratna Siti Nurhayati is undertaking the teacher program in physics at the University of Rochester.

Ratna is a science teacher at SMP Negeri 56 in South Jakarta, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in physics education from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. She is eager to enhance her ability to teach science in large classrooms to spark greater student interest. Ratna focuses on implementing Differentiated Instruction (DI) techniques to create a more tailored and effective learning experience upon her return to school.
