
Reny Revariah is pursuing MUD (Master in Urban Design) program at Iowa State University’s College of Design. She is interested in designing city because she thinks, the way designer shapes the city, that would be how the city shapes people. With her degree, she wants to find applicable key design elements in order to make thriving community and environment in slum neighborhoods.
Reny earned her bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Prior to her Fulbright award, she worked as principal architect at architecture firm in Banjarmasin. She also actively involved in urban research projects as a field researcher assistant.
