Sabrina Verleysen

Sabrina is a recent graduate of Villanova University receiving degrees in both Communications and Spanish Language and Literature with high honors. She is a Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow at the University of Michigan Ford School of Public Policy where she completed graduate level coursework and independent research assignments. She just finished an internship on the Digital Team at the Obama Foundation in Washington DC, where she honed her storytelling ability to inspire the next generation of civic leaders.

Sabrina is extremely passionate about the intersection of social justice and public policy. She previously served her home community as a community legal interpreter for asylum seekers and refugees and a legal intern at the Public Defenders of Philadelphia. She is most excited to engage in cross cultural exchange with her students and co-teachers and broaden her horizons.

For her Fulbright ETA program, Sabrina will be placed at Central Java where she will co-teach at MAN Demak.
