In February, ETA Caroline Kim celebrated the 21st birthday of her host school, MAN Model 1 Manado. The community donned on their finest batik, put on their game faces, and exercised their creativity, talents, and skills.

Caroline is especially proud of the students who competed in the local WORDS storytelling competition during the school’s celebrations. From an architect’s dreams to build a disaster-safe Indonesia to a wisdom-imparting orangutan, the stories told showcased a diversity of people and perspectives.
