Sidrah Afriani Rachman pursues her doctoral degree in teaching and learning at the Ohio State University. Her primary interest is to study education, particularly reading and literacy in early and middle childhood education.

She is a lecturer at Universitas Negeri Makassar, South Sulawesi, where she obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees in English education.
