Venny studies at Arizona State University as a Fulbright DAI fellow.

She is as an English teacher at SMA Negeri 9 Manado, North Sulawesi. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English teaching from Satya Wacana Christian University. She is actively involved in the Manado English Teachers’ Association where she shares and learns from other English teachers in Manado.

Through the Fulbright DAI fellowship program, Venny is keen to learn ways to handle large classes with varying levels of competency.
