Vindi Kaldina is studying for an MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

After being awarded a BA in English literature at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, in 2010, she went to work at the Language Center at University of Bangka Belitung, in Sumatera.

She is concerned about the quality of English teaching beyond Java in Indonesia and hopes to contribute to understanding of the needs of local English teachers from their perspectives
