Wahyuni Pratiwi is an English teacher at MTsN Barru in Kab. Barru, South Sulawesi. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English literature from Universitas Hasanuddin and a master’s degree in English language education from Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.

As a Fulbright DAI awardee, she is undertaking the teacher program in English at the University of Rochester. She intends to gain practical strategies and resources to help fellow teachers incorporate cultural values into the language classroom, making English learning more meaningful, relevant, and globally connected.
