Widyastri Atsary Rahmy is originally from Bandung. She is pursuing her study in Landscape Architecture at the University of Florida, College of Design, Construction and Planning. She is inspired to take that field of study because of her keen interest towards urban green spaces planning and its impact on human health.

She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Architecture with Program Track of Landscape Architecture from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Prior to her Fulbright award, she is a lecturer at Architecture Program in the Faculty of Engineering and Design, Institut Teknologi dan Sains Bandung (ITSB).
