Yosephin Anandati Pranoto is originally from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. She is currently pursuing her study in Clinical Nutrition at Kent State University.

She earned her Bachelor of Nutrition from Universitas Gadjah Mada and finished her Dietetic Internship from Universitas Brawijaya.

She conducted a research for her thesis about the association between nutritional status and the outcome of geriatric surgical patients to analyze the most effective screening tools for hospitalized geriatric patients.

Prior to her Fulbright award, Yosephin was a research assistant at Pediatric Research Office Dr. Sardjito Hospital and assistant lecturer at Nutrition Health Department Medical Faculty Universitas Gadjah Mada.

Her proposed study in clinical nutrition is related to her interests to improve the nutritional status in Indonesia and helps people with health problems. She intends to come back to Indonesia after pursuing her degree program and eager to contribute a significant works in her field of study for those high-risk group of malnutrition through the educational system (as teacher and researcher).
