As a Fulbright Specialist, Dr. Karen Huchting will spend approximately three weeks from July 16 through August 4, 2018, with the English Language Department faculty at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, leading workshops on research methods and writing for publication.

Karen is an associate professor of education at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los Angeles, where she teaches research methods and writing courses at the master’s and doctoral levels. She is also the associate director of the doctoral program in educational leadership for social justice at LMU and serves as faculty advisor on numerous dissertation committees. Over the past five years, Dr. Huchting has also served as an editor of a peer-reviewed academic journal.
