Aldo Foe is conducting research on a project entitled “The Origin and Spread of Islam in the Indonesian Archipelago: A Ceramics Perspective.”

He is a PhD candidate in anthropology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He holds a master’s from said university and a bachelor’s from City University of New York (CUNY) Queens College, New York in anthropology.

His research is affiliated with Gadjah Mada University.
