Anna Ringheiser

Anna recently graduated from Boston College with a double major in History and International Studies and a minor in Islamic Civilization and Societies. She loves learning new languages, and studied Spanish throughout middle and high school and Arabic in college. At Boston College, Anna was the president of the Eagle Political Society, a non-partisan political group promoting education, debate and compromise, as well as the Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies Student Association. For 3 years, she also took part in running a Model United Nations conference for high school students. Among the many reasons Anna is excited to go to Indonesia, she is especially enthusiastic about learning about conservation efforts and how communities and centers of faith are being incorporated into environmental consciousness raising and action programs.

For her Fulbright ETA program, Anna will be placed at Central Java where she will co-teach at MAN Parakan Temanggung.
