Arshelle Carter is currently teaching at SMK Stella Maris in Labuan Bajo, Flores, East Nusa Tengarra. She is inspired to teach in Indonesia because of its’ “Unity in Diversity”. She looks forward to the challenge of teaching English and practicing her Bahasa Indonesia. Furthermore, Arshelle hopes to build meaningful relationships with her students, fellow teachers, and community members.

Arshelle recently graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a dual degree in Business Management and International Studies. As a member of a global education education certification program, she learned skills in cross-cultural communication as well as the value of intercultural exchanges. Outside of the classroom, Arshelle enjoys listening to podcasts, sipping espresso, and spending time with her family and friends.
