Bira Arumndari Nurrahma is a research assistant in the Department of Biochemistry at Universitas Gadjah Mada.

She is pursuing a PhD in nutritional sciences at the University of Kentucky, where she will continue her advanced work in nutrition and metabolic biology, particularly nutritional metabolism, molecular cell biology, and neurobiology.

Bira earned her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and health from Universitas Gadjah Mada and her master’s in metabolism and obesity sciences at Taipei Medical University with a scholarship from that university.
