Danny recently graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York where he majored in history-adolescent education and swam competitively on the Marist Swimming and Diving Team. His attraction to the Fulbright ETA program in Indonesia comes from his history background that attempts to conceptualize the immense amount of cultural histories throughout the world. The rich diversity of Indonesia offers more unique exposure to different lifestyles and values compared to any other country in the world, and the Fulbright programs provide an excellent educational experience for a future career in teaching.

He looks forward to immersion into a totally new society that has a stronger value of relationships and community than his native society in the United States. He is looking forward to serving.

He will be teaching at SMAN 2 Payakumbuh in West Sumatra.
