Dr. Anie Yulistyorini is researching environmental engineering at the University of Notre Dame. Her study “Influence of Tropical Climates on Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor (MABR) for Municipal Wastewater Treatment” aims to implement efficient wastewater treatment in Indonesia.

She is a lecturer at Universitas Negeri Malang. She earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya, a master’s in environmental sanitation from Ghent University, Belgium, and a PhD in wastewater treatment from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
