At Portland State University, Dr Erlina is carrying out research on “Development of a Four-Tier Instrument to Identify Students’ Understanding and Misconceptions about Molecular Geometry.” She believes that conducting research collaboratively in the United States is necessary since the US has experts in the field of her interest. Moreover, she hopes to obtain knowledge and experience in conducting research collaborations.

Dr Erlina is a lecturer at Universitas Tanjungpura, Pontianak.

She earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD in chemistry education from UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Universitas Negeri Malang, and the University of Leicester, UK.
