Dr Irwan Adi Ekaputra is a professor of finance and the Director of Graduate Program in management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (UI).
With his Fulbright Visiting Scholar grant, he researches in finance on “Closing Price Inefficiency or Manipulation? Evidence from the Indonesian Market” at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He believes that research in the United States is needed since interactions and discussions with US academics will significantly improve his research quality. Moreover, he hopes to obtain new research techniques and methodologies from American colleagues.
Dr Irwan earned his PhD in finance, and his master’s in international business from UI. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in agroindustrial engineering from Institut Pertanian Bogor.
