As a lecturer at Universitas Negeri Malang, East Java, Dr. Sari Karmina holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English language education from Universitas Negeri Semarang. She pursued her doctoral studies in education at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Currently, at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Dr. Karmina’s research encompasses several areas of interest, including cooperative learning, teacher professional development, English language teaching, and teaching English to young learners. Her current research project focuses on “Fostering Final Year Secondary School Students’ Social and Emotional Learning through Cooperative Learning.”
