As a Fulbright US Student Researcher, Eden spends 10 months in Yogyakarta to conduct research on transnational apologies, focusing on Dutch-Indonesian relations. For this research, he is affiliated with Universitas Gadjah Mada.
This is Eden’s third time in Indonesia. Previously, he spent time in Malang, East Java to learn the Indonesian language and culture under the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) in 2016 and 2018. He looks forward to understanding the Indonesian culture deeper and to document his daily life in Indonesia with his camera.
Eden earned his bachelor degree in both philosophy and mathematics from the University of New Hampshire.
