This month, ETA Kelly Richard teamed up with her local English Language Fellow (and good friend) Robyn to organize a field trip to the American Corner! About 25 students who participate in English extracurricular activity, classes with Kelly, or just love English came. Borrowing a bus from Universitas Adi Buana, Robyn, Kelly, and three co-teachers shuttled the students from SMKN 6. At the American Corner, students learned about the resources, programs and opportunities available to them and met some university students who love English! They also played some fun English games with Robyn and asked her many questions about travel, English, culture and more! It was a great success and many students are already planning to return!
