At the University of Memphis, Frans Judea Samosir is undertaking his PhD in public health. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Universitas Sumatera Utara and a master’s in public health from the University of Georgia, United States.

He is a lecturer at Universitas Prima Indonesia, Medan.
