As Fulbright Specialist, Dr. Karen Huchting will spend approximately 3 weeks from July 16 through August 4, 2018, with the English Language Department faculty at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, leading workshops on research methods and writing for publication.

Karen is an Associate Professor of Education at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los Angeles, where she teaches research methods and writing courses at the Masters’ and Doctoral level. She is also the Associate Director of the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership for Social Justice at LMU and she serves as faculty advisor on numerous dissertation committees. Over the past 5 years, Dr. Huchting has also served as an editor of a peer-reviewed academic journal.
