This month, ETA Kelly Richard took a short trip to visit her friends ETA Kate Morrow and ETA Nageen Sherani in Pangkalpinang! She was so excited to travel further west and get a chance to see a different side of Indonesia! Kate and Nageen picked her up from the airport and together they got coffee with some local friends! Kelly tried really hard to speak slowly and clearly and to understand everything being said in fast paced Indonesian, but it was a mental workout! Meeting all of Kate and Nageen’s friends was lovely and having Kate and Nageen show her around their awesome site was so exciting. After hearing about their location for months, it was cool to finally get to see it in person! Her visit was short, but full of food, exploring and lots of laughter. Now, Kelly has a whole bunch of new friends in Bangka! She misses them all already.
