The entire month of December was filled with exams and a well-deserved break for the teachers and students of MAN Temanggung. To celebrate the end of testing, the entire eleventh grade went on a road trip to Bali – and what a celebration it was!

ETA Lucy Faust had spent over a week in New Zealand where she was visiting friends but flew back into Bali just in time to spend three days with all of her eleventh-grade students and fellow MAN Temanggung teachers.

They went to Lake Bedugul to see Danau Beratan, watched Barong dancing, visited Tanah Lot, and crammed into angkots to spend an afternoon at Kuta Beach, and of course did a lot of oleh-oleh shopping, the famous Joger store among them. ETA Lucy Faust went straight to bed after the bus ride home.
