Michelle graduated from Texas Christian University in May of 2019 with a degree in youth advocacy and educational studies and a minor in comparative race and ethnic studies. Michelle applied to Fulbright because of her passion for education and her belief that every single person in the world deserves access to quality education. She knows that her efforts in creating an inclusive classroom learning environment will be beneficial to bring back to the states and work towards global educational equity in the future. Michelle has a firm belief in the value of education and is confident that her time in Indonesia will give her relationships, memories, and experiences that will continue to solidify this belief.

Michelle will serve as an English Teaching Assistant at SKMN 2 Salatiga in Central Java.
