Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Program Year 2019
Natasha graduated from Pomona College with a bachelor’s degree in English. While at Pomona she worked at the Writing Center, collaborating with students on written and oral projects, which fostered her love of working with students and writing. She also served as VP of operations for the Pomona Student Union, a group on campus that brought speakers to debate and discuss local, national and international issues affecting the campus community. She studied abroad at the University of Cambridge in England, which was her first time living abroad.
The Fulbright ETA grant in Indonesia allows her to combine her love for education, discourse, and travel. She is excited to create a community with her students and explore intersections of culture in Indonesia.
For her Fulbright ETA program, Natasha will be placed at East Kalimantan where she will co-teach at SMAN 10 Samarinda.
